Queer+Trans Prenatal + Postpartum Support Circles

Community is core, especially in parenthood.

People gathered outdoors around colorful chalk drawings on the pavement, including a snake and writable spaces for words or messages.
In my groups, the environment, pace, prompts, reflection, and integration are mindfully and meaningfully tended to create space for what is actually present in each of you. With resource-forward care and connection, balancing and being with the struggles become possible— and freeing.
I incorporate gentle guided embodiment and creative expression as practices of somatic, emotional, and imaginal awareness. Here, isolation, fear, and exhaustion that so often come with parenthood can soften into connective safety through trust-building with resonant others.

Gathering is sacred. I practice a queer-ified matriarchal set of community values that are anti-oppressive, liberation-focused, and trauma-aware. Every body of every shape, size, ability, skin color, gender, and history is honored for its expansive magic.

It can take a lot of work to become a parent…and even then, who are we really becoming? Parenthood both gets folded into our previous selves AND transforms us overall. In this group, we’ll be amongst peers of new birthing parents who are exploring our identities, felt senses, and new realities to compassionately make space for the people we are emerging into.
With creative prompts, gentle embodied movement, and supported community, we’ll craft a clearer way for all of us to feel more affirmed, welcomed, and liberated in our transforming selves.
The beautiful, cozy, and totally baby-friendly space we’ll gather in has just what we need to settle into comfort, simplicity, and ease. Babies are welcome in postpartum groups, though you may also come on your own. The studio is used for baby/parent groups and is set up for babies to safely lay, roam, and play, and for parents to feel supported to release their bodies and minds into their authenticity.
